
Joshua D. Arisohn is the owner and founder of Arisohn LLC. Josh is experienced in prosecuting consumer class actions and has won numerous contested motions for class certification, including in Jancik v. WebMD, LLC, 1:22-cv-00644-TWT (N.D. Ga.), in which certification was granted for the first time ever for a claim brought under the Video Privacy Protection Act, 18 U.S. Code § 2710.
Josh has litigated precedent-setting cases against funders of terrorism. He participated in the first ever trial to take place under the Anti-Terrorism Act, a statute that affords U.S. citizens the right to assert federal claims for injuries arising out of acts of international terrorism. He obtained an $850 million judgment in favor of the family members of victims of terrorist attacks carried out by ISIS with the material support of Syria.
​​Josh is admitted to the State Bar of New York and is a member of the bars of the United States District Courts for the Southern District of New York, the Eastern District of New York, the District of Columbia, the District of Connecticut, the Eastern District of Missouri and the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second and Ninth Circuits.

Josh previously practiced at Bursor & Fisher, P.A., DLA Piper LLP and Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP. He graduated from Columbia University School of Law in 2006, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and received his B.A. from Cornell University in 2002.
